1. Owners and or custodians of pets shall not allow pets to run at large in the Providence Village Community. A dog or cat shall be deemed to be running at large while roaming, running or self hunting or when not controlled by a reasonable person as defined by the County Code.

2. All pets must have appropriate shots. Licenses and tags as required by the County.

3. Pet owners must respect the private property of others. Pets are not allowed to trespass on lawns and should be walked in the common areas only.

4. Under no circumstances should pets be allowed to relieve themselves in or around the children's play area.

5. The maintenance, keeping, boarding or raising of animals, livestock, poultry or reptiles of any kind, regardless of number, is prohibited within any unit or upon the common elements, except the keeping of orderly, domestic pets (e.g. dogs, cats, or caged birds) NOT TO EXCEED TWO (2) PER UNIT, provided they are not kept, bred or maintained for commercial purposes.

6. Residents or guests who own pets shall ensure that their pets do not become a nuisance to the other residents in the community. Actions which may constitute a nuisance include, but are not limited to, barking, crying, scratching or being hygienically offensive.

7. Pet Owners shall be responsible for any and all costs incurred in the repair or damages to the common areas caused by their pets.

8. Pets shall not he chained or leashed in any common area.

9. All Providence Village Community members are required to adhere to all portions of the Loudon County Dog and Animal Ordinances. Summarized below are the above mentioned ordinances and the action of Providence Village Community members may take to help enforce the ordinances:

RUNNING AT LARGE:
Dogs must be restrained by a dependable leash and
controlled by a responsible person when on
the property of the owner or custodian of the dog.
Violations may be reported to the Animal Warden
at (703) 777-0406

DOG NOISE:
Dogs are not permitted to frequently or continually
howl, bark or make sounds which may disturb a
Community Member.

DOG ODOR: Dogs shall not be maintained in
such a manner which causes odors offensive to a
Community Member. Violations to the Dog noise
and Dog Odor portion of the ordinances should be
submitted in writing to:
